Oh yes, I have just seen yet another documentary about the royal couple everyone is talking about; Kate and William. This one was produced by BBC, and aired the day before the wedding.
Over all, it was an okay documentary if youre not particulary interested in the royal wedding, and just want a short and uncontroversial version of the story. It was short and to the point. No gossip, no slander. On the other hand, it was equally not as deep as the two others I've earlier reviewed here on the blog; Kate and William: A Modern Romance and William and Cathrine: A Modern Fairytale
The documentary was well produced, and all in all slightly entertaining. Though, it had a strong element of propaganda – as you can expect from the state channel the day before a royal wedding. Still, its worthy for a 4 out of 6.
this was a great wedding, :D nice post
ReplyDeleteBBC ones are pretty dice
ReplyDeleteEnjoyed this and the links.
ReplyDeleteyou sir, have some tenacity. I couldn't sit through one soppy doco about our irrelevant and impotent royal family let alone 3 documentaries on the topic. kudos to you
ReplyDeleteShort and to the point, keep it that way :P
ReplyDeleteawesome coverage
ReplyDeleteI was at Kelvingrove Park this day, we had riots.
ReplyDeleteDidn't see much of the wedding... but a really good post!
ReplyDeleteso much royal wedding everywhere!
ReplyDeleteNice post man, but if I may ask, why did you do your grading system out of 6 rather than out of 5?
ReplyDeleteAlso didnt see much of the wedding, had to work. But the post is very good written!
ReplyDeleteGreat wedding indeed but it seems to always happen at a weird time
ReplyDeleteTotally better to be short and to the point.
ReplyDelete4 out of six.. for a wedding story
ReplyDeletethanks for the review
ReplyDeletenice - but i hate wedding and marriage hope they get a good time though
ReplyDeleteUgh, as an Australian I'm very anti-monarchist. I wouldn't be able to sit through 15 mins of this.
ReplyDeletepoor kate . she could get an better one but nice review
ReplyDeletei was watching this live on youtube and TV at the same time.
ReplyDeleteNow we just need a Pippa documentary.
ReplyDeleteI watched some of this. My brain started bleeding and maple sypup dripped from my eyes so I had to stop watching.
ReplyDeleteCan't wait for the royal divorce!
I liked her dress a lot! ^_^
ReplyDeletewatched this and loved it; but i was all wrapped up in the wedding
ReplyDeleteI don't know why he choose kate over pippa
ReplyDeleteI heard it was great to watch, but I'm kind of royal wedding'd out now.
ReplyDeletePippa's arse. But Kate is definitely more attractive overall..
ReplyDeleteyeah i heard about it... somewhere... :)
ReplyDeletethanks for the review
ReplyDeleteI didn't care much, but it looks nice, since it's not all gossip and stuff.
ReplyDeleteDidn't care about it, still don't
ReplyDeleteI don't like the hype about them, ok Kate is pretty hot, but they only a couple thats married.
ReplyDeleteI never got the big deal about popularity >.<
ReplyDeleteDidn't see much of the wedding tbh
ReplyDeleteAll the wedding hype was driving me insane. It's all they would show on the tv!
ReplyDeleteOf course the big question is; Kate or Pippa?
ReplyDeleteBeen hearing some pretty distasteful wedding jokes in the aftermath now
ReplyDeleteId like to see on that talks about the tax payers footing the bill for the wedding. thats pretty bogus imho.
ReplyDeleteYeah wouldn't seem like my cup of tea, lol
ReplyDeleteI was so uninterested in the whole thing, from the perspective of someone English. I think if I watched it, my boredom of the Royal family would make my opinion biased :P
ReplyDeleteI really don't care about them
ReplyDeleteIt's good that they're happy together, but i got so sick of seeing them on the news every damn day
ReplyDeleteI don't care too much about them, but good informative post anyways.
ReplyDeleteI've already seen enough RW stuff lol
ReplyDeleteDaily Show's take on it was amazing. No footage of the wedding could be used for comedy purposes, so they had the entire thing "redone" in CGI... outsourced to a Taiwanese company
ReplyDeleteBeing Irish opinion on the British royal family varies from indifference to outright dislike so I think I'll be taking a pass on this.
ReplyDeleteLove pippa's ass!
ReplyDeletepropaganda = BIG DISLIKE!
ReplyDeletedont like all that rush about their wedding tho..
Didn't get to see the wedding but thanks for the info!
ReplyDeleteAs interesting as it sounds I honestly don't want give it more publicity than it already has
ReplyDeleteCool stuff man, I'm liking the concise post!
ReplyDeleteKeep 'em coming!
I'm just amused that Britain hasn't gotten rid of the royal family yet- just a huge drain on their resources, after all. Its not like they perform any original tasks or anything :P
ReplyDeleteI'll pass just because I honestly don't care about this whole wedding and why it's been so blown up.
ReplyDeleteDamn, I missed the wedding.
ReplyDeleteI was studying at that time and forgot about it.
Thanks for the post though, appreciate it.
It was so over done... Im over it already.
ReplyDeleteMissed the wedding :(
ReplyDeleteThanks for post though, was great.
I'm so fed up with those two... Jesus.
ReplyDeleteWell you get bonus points for being concise and to the point. From the short review I gather that its a decent watch, so I'll probably see if I can get my hands on it ^^
ReplyDeleteher sister looked so much hotter
ReplyDeleteThese two get way too much attention, it's a nice story but I don't see the big deal. Just my opinion though.
ReplyDeletemmhmm..didnt watched the wedding...im not interessted in it!
ReplyDeletetoo much hype just for that
ReplyDeleteyou will never catch me watching this
ReplyDeleteI've been so invested in my own little circle of the world that this whole Royal Wedding went by without me even noticing. Might have to watch this to catch up.
ReplyDeleteYou will never find true love on a public eye relationship
ReplyDeleteThe wedding was really something!
ReplyDeleteDarick Pascua is right...but i wish good luck to them! :)

ReplyDeleteThis is really a fairytale :b
